After securing your low-cost airfare, it’s time to choose the right travel accommodation for you. Choosing the right hotel is very crucial because this will make your trip fun or a disappointment if  failed to do so.

You have to know everything about the hotel. Spend more time in selecting the right travel accommodation as you spend time in airline ticket reservations and bargains if you don’t want to end up regretting it during your stay.

To get the best travel accommodations, you should consider the following:

• Choose your hotel based on name, amenities, features, price, packages and location.

• Hotel’s web page is biased so don’t rely on it.

• You can ask some of your friends or relatives who have been there.

• Choose a family-friendly hotels especially for your children.

• It should have a swimming pool for kids, daycare services, crib rentals and the rooms should h ave child-proof electric outlets.

• It should have a security viewer installed on its door and uses an electronic room-key cards.

• Pick the room from upper floors.

• If you love gazing at the balcony, know the condition of its surrounding environment for you won’t see on hotel flyers the construction site near the hotel property, car traffic and noisy waterfalls.

• Ask for the availability of the following; laundry service, coffee makers, free meals, fax machines, hair dryers, newspapers, bar, cable T.V., parking, internet connection, shuttle service, etc.

• Choose a hotel that has beautiful landscape surroundings with trees, flowers and inner courts. Gift shops and restaurants will be wonderful too.

• Choose a hotel that is nearly located to the main attractions. This could save you more time and money on fares.

• Choose a hotel with a 24/7 room service.

• Room itself could affect your mood. Check whether the room is brightly colored or classical.

There are hotels that specialize business people and consider weekends as off season that you and your family could make use of its special packages. More importantly, you have to book as early as possible and make your dates more flexible so you could get the most out of your hotel accommodations.
