At this point in time, I’m pretty sure that you have plenty of prospect hotel accommodations for your vacation trip, however, you’re having a minor problem because they are costly. Is there anything that yo can do to afford one of these?

- There are lots of hotel that offer great discounts for the online customers. Just check the internet for great deals.
- Big discounts are given during off season months.
- Ask the hotels about their offers, discounts and promotions.
- Certain credit card holders can get discount from some hotels. Just look for the manager as he is the best person to ask about it.
- Know if they give discounts to senior citizens or students.
- During off peak season, hotels are willing to give higher discounts to fill the empty rooms just simply ask how can you qualify for a discount, know how much or how less they can give then ask if you could get still a higher discount.
- Normally, hotels offer rooms with free breakfast so ask for certain packages.
- You can avail discounts through referrals. If you have a friend who stayed on a certain hotel just mention his name. Do the best that you can do even they say no. This could encourage bigger discounts.
- Discounts are being offered to government employees like people in military who get good hotel rates.
- During negotiations, it is important to write down all the agreed discussions including the name of the persons you are talking to, the time, day and date. And call the hotel for confirmation before checking in.
- You can still try to negotiate even you are in the hotel. If you think that the hotel is not fully booked you can ask for a room with a better view, if only you don’t like the one that you have.
